I've been dealing with wasting disease in my platys. After treating the whole tank, then hospital tanking the one that still had symptoms after that, she wasn't improving and one of the newer girls started showing sympts. I got Expel-P from my LFS and dosed the whole at bed time... /thread

Got a little plant grow-out tank started in preparation for my next tank I want to do. Kedgang diabloica buces, narrow coinleaf and pinto anubias.

One thing I really enjoy about having this platy sorority is that some of thr girls were definitely pregnant when I got them. Since I haven't seen them give birth, when I spot a new tiny fry I love stating "Who's baby is that?!" 🤣

Apparently Hand, Foot and Mouth disease is spreading through our school district like wildfire so guess who has both kids home and has to try and work remotely at the same time 🙃

Things are looking pretty good! Tank is 5 minths old. Added in ember tetras and two more platy girls, so its quite lively! Quite a few fry have made it to a non-eatable size!

I work at a small food product company in the PNW, and I'm super worried about what next month is going to mean for us. Since we source our ingredients locally, our products are generally a higher cost than competitors. With SNAP benefits disappearing, the ripple effect could gut us. 😢
