If anyone wanted to know what it was like growing up under segregationist and discriminatory practices and policies in the 1950’s and 60’s as a country we are on the brink of being back in time to that awful era. I never thought I would experience that awful time again. Yet, here we are. Again.

Listening to the RFK JR confirmation hearing. He has no idea what Medicare or Medicaid is, his answers make no sense, lives are at stake. After listening to his first few responses, you can tell he is not qualified to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

I decided to have hope and focus on what I can do to positively impact the lives of others.
