Sonic Retro has scans of the old full colour Japanese 8 and 16 bit Sonic manuals and boy, they make our grayscale Western affairs look like very poor cousins. They are full of achingly 90s colourful design work and characterful drawings. #sonic

I like to follow a bunch of 1995 -> 2005 games on Twitch I am nostalgic for and it blows my mind how many ppl start the game WITHOUT reading the manual, or even glancing at it!

Keep noodling about with Sonic / mobian OC design stuff. It's so out of my usual wheelhouse I have trouble with proportions and trying not to over complicate it.
