I can’t imagine having this level of freedom when I was a kid. Having the ability to play more than 5 games..
We were lucky to buy 2-3 games a year.
Takes me back to Blockbuster. Renting cool titles based off their cover or word of mouth.

These days I have a very love/hate relationship with Nintendo. I love their games but still don't want to play on their hardware. Even more so with how they are bullying their customers these days, but the game quality in my opinion can't be denied. Thank goodness for emulation. #Nintendo

This market is not going back to a world of high walled gardens and expensive barriers to player entry. Not in a market that is this competitive, with so much content that is widely available on any device, which is, quite often, free-to-play.

If you want to still think it's 2005 and there's a group of video game players out there who are going to move away from their preferred platforms on which some have accumulated nearly 20 years of content in their libraries and buy an entirely new system to play one game, well, have fun with that.

I'm having a blast with Shadow Tactics: Blades of The Shogun. It's a tactical stealth game in feudal Japan and of fun. This is just one of the more fun kills I got in this game. Check it out. On sale on Steam rn for $4

It's been a minute Bluesky. Fun change in my gaming life is my full switch to Linux. After talking about it for at least 2 years I pulled the trigger last week. Went with Bazzite. I don't miss Windows at all. There are times I forget that I'm not on Windows.

2025 and to a degree 2024 for me has been all about cheapskate gaming. Proud of the fact that I haven't paid more than $25 for a game in nearly a full calendar year. I just don't see the point anymore.

The more I look at the Switch 2's announced games the more I feel okay with leaving it alone for a while. I don't like the price of it's games or the virtual game cards but I do like the Switch 2 itself as a piece of tech thus far. The games they have for it that I want to play are mostly ports tho

The Switch 2 pricing should be a reminder that piracy is always a service related problem and is the only way to combat bad business practices from corporations.
Also, Game Pass is not and has never been the best deal in gaming!
