I’d been avoiding watching Frieren for a while because I cried so much for the first four episodes. It’s been long enough that I’ve gaslit myself into believing I’ve exaggerated it in my mind—just now I couldn’t even get four minutes into episode 5 without feeling a lump in my throat.

Do kids even have any good sandwich role models these days? Growing up I had Jughead, Dagwood, Fred Penner…just don’t see that many sandwich fans represented anymore smh. Really explains a lot…

Incredible that dinosaurs lived for almost 200 million years and not one of them invented a Nintendo. Sure, the early Triassic guys were probably pretty dumb, but some of them must have smartened up by the Cretaceous.

I continue to be hard on myself, but there are two moments that are etched into my brain and my heart. The first was when my piano quartet “Largo” was performed at school, and after the recital another student came up to me and burst into tears.
Artists 👋 what's a compliment you've received that has really stuck with you or meant a lot to you? I'm curious, and also, I think it's nice to occasionally remind yourself that people appreciate what you do and that it matters 🥰
A thought that often occurs to me: “I really need to expand my vocabulary so I have more ways to compliment my friends’ beautiful artwork.”

People are hyping up TAG because they use AI to see details that a human grader would miss, and then are getting upset when cards that looked perfect to the human eye come back with 8s and 9s.

Can we stop calling JKR a TERF? She’s not a feminist or radicalised. Let’s workshop some other derogatory terms, like TETOP (Trans Exclusionary Tool of the Patriarchy) or BIGOT (this one isn’t an acronym, it’s just an adjective in all caps).
