Brazil is drilling in the Amazon while claiming to be a climate champion! I have just asked Brazil to choose to lead the world away from fossil fuels at #COP30. Add to the pressure👇

#birds#birdingwales whilst eating breakfast yesterday I was entertained by a Red Kite flying around, this morning a Bittern flew past my window, a few minutes later a Sparrow Hawk dashing at the feeding birds. What will tomorrow bring?

Whilst looking at my feeders, today I was surprised to see 4 Red Kite wheeling overhead, the most I've seen together on Ynys Mon. Gone are the days of the annual Bird Group trip to Tregaron feeding station, Although I saw a group of 7 whilst on the A14 near Kettering.

#birds#birdingwales Gannets again today at Ynysbadrig, now 20 young remaining. Richard Arnold and I reckon 13 have left, this equals the total we think for last year, so this small but thriving recent second Wales colony seems to be established despite the ravages of HPAI.
