After months of concerted work to undermine the checks and balances designed to limit abuses from the executive office, Trump has engendered the situation he’s so obviously been dreaming of: bringing down the might of the U.S. military on Americans. Specifically, Americans who don’t support him.

Whether or not camping bans are legal under the eyes of the Supreme Court does not mean it is right or just or humane. In fact, based on the recent rulings of our current Supreme Court, aligning ourselves with the court’s ultraconservative majority should cause us to feel uneasy.
