The Premier League have made a rod for their own back by granting Tottenham's request to reschedule their visit to #AVFC.

After previously refusing Villa's pleas for flexibility, the Premier League will now be expected to facilitate a raft of requests next season and beyond...

The Premier League has brought forward Aston Villa's clash against Tottenham by two days, rescheduling it for Friday, May 16.

Villa believe the decision to accommodate Spurs sets a double standard, particularly as their own requests for scheduling flexibility were previously denied.

Would be equally hilarious & damning if Spurs lose to Bodo/Glimt. #AVFC had 5 games in 13 days (the PL decided to throw in Liverpool for good measure) and even last year, in the Conference League, other teams had favours from their domestic league (Lille), yet Villa had nothing.
