Our first independent paper is out on @CellReports. We asked how variable sniffing changes odor processing in the main olfactory cortex. Our findings may also be relevant to other sensory systems. 🧵:

Sniffing changes the delivery of odors to the nose. Are odor representations in the olfactory cortex sniff-invariant? @MichelonFilippo and I will provide a surprising and elegant response at @FENSorg on Sun 2 PM, poster board S02-638. But only if you wear a mask! #FENS2022

The Iurilli Lab is thrilled to welcome @l_petrucco as a new postdoc. Luigi did spectacular work in the @PortuguesLab during his PhD. Watch his last talk at @CosyneMeeting or
read their recent preprint for some exhilarating science.

This paper is not a paper. It has the structure of a symphony. A magnificent one.

There are days that I feel that my heart and my lungs resent the fact that my limbs and my face are taking all the credit for the activity of my cortex. Sometimes they hate my guts too. And they feel nostalgic for the good old days.
