On February 2023 the group attended NetSciX 2023 in Buenos Aires - Argentina. The conference enhanced the collaboration between researchers in network science from South America and around the world. Recent works on complex networks were both presented and attended by the group.

The group has a well-founded experience in theoretical epidemic modeling, and at the beginning of 2020, this knowledge showed to be even more important for aggregating real data to the models.
