Smoky sunrise again today. Smoke from the fires in western Colorado that has spread to our area. We need rain to help the firefighters in the west and to prevent new fires in our area.

The full Moon this month is called the Sturgeon Moon and we had clouds everywhere as I was trying to capture the full Moon rising. I got one good shot when the clouds parted for just a brief moment. #Moon

This is the time of year we have two kinds of hummers competing for the feeder, the Broad-tailed who have been here since May and the Rufous who just arrived. This is a beautiful male Rufous. They will stay a few weeks and continue on their migration to Mexico. #bird
