Can’t Spell Treason Without Tea is the kind of cozy fantasy I didn’t know I needed. Bookshop, tea, found family, a griffin(!), and gentle magic that made me feel like a kid again. Five glowing stars.

Loved Death of the Author by Nnedi Okorafor. A layered, emotional story exploring disability, memory, family, and storytelling itself. I didn’t rush it—and I’m still thinking about it. 4.5 stars. 💙📚

A tasty blend of mystery, heart, and halo-halo! I loved book 2 in the Tita Rosie’s Kitchen series—Lila’s growth, family tension, and pageant drama all shine. Plus, Longanissa the pup is back!

Just finished None of This Is True by Lisa Jewell and wow—twisty, unsettling, and totally absorbing. I didn’t want to stop reading. A story that makes you question everyone, including yourself. 4.5 stars! Also: thank goodness the dog made it.

Queer horror + romance? Yes please. How to Get a Girlfriend (When You’re a Terrifying Monster) is tender, funny, & gloriously weird. A Cthulhu-type monster falling in love? I’m obsessed. More queer monster romance, always.

Finally read Fahrenheit 451—a terrifying yet hopeful classic that still feels way too relevant. Bradbury’s world of censorship, conformity, and lost stories is chilling. But the spark of resistance? Powerful.

finished Beartown by Fredrik Backman — a tough, cold, deeply human read. Small-town hockey, big issues: class, assault, identity, and belonging. It’s not easy, but it’s important. 4 stars from me.

Not the cozy bookstore mystery I expected, but a dark, twisty story about memory, trauma, and family. The mystery surprised me, and the bookish themes hit close to home. A solid 4-star read.

This book made me laugh, cry, and remember what it means to fiercely love and protect the kids in our lives. Messy, magical, and full of heart—Somewhere Beyond the Sea reminded me why difference should be celebrated, not feared. #TJKlune #BookLove #FoundFamily #BookReview #QueerFiction #Booksky

The Montague siblings have my whole heart. The Nobleman’s Guide to Scandal and Shipwrecks is a weird, tender, and perfect finale. Family is messy, healing is hard, and I loved every minute of it.

Where the Line Bleeds by Jesmyn Ward wrecked me (in a good way).
Twins, choices, and a future you can’t quite outrun.
Read it out of order, still hit hard. 4 stars.

Ward’s writing is so honest and vivid, it doesn’t let you look away.

I flew through Him by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy—childhood friends, college dorms, and figuring out who you really are. Soft moments, awkward truths, and so much heart. I’m all in for this series.

It was a quick, powerful read, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing at the end. I don’t know if I expected more length or more closure, but I was left wanting. Still, Smith’s words linger, and that alone makes this book worth reading. 4.25 stars.
