On stream, I focused on refining the silver NMM, working on the pistons and joints while also adding more secondary reflections across the blue, gold, and silver NMM.

Now I need to take those suggestions and refine the right arm some more to match! Excited to push this even further.

Finished up the gold NMM on the right pauldron and hand, which means most of the gold is finally wrapped up.

Next up is starting the silver NMM sections and some freehand work.

I also started tweaking the secondary reflections on the blue NMM for the left hand. Excited to push this even further.

The skull design on the abdomen is coming together! I cleaned up the lines, corrected the teeth, and started highlighting the red sections to bring out more depth and contrast. There’s still more to refine, but the progress is looking solid so far!

The base is really coming together now! I’ve finished the impact spots and completed the flying shards, adding texture to some of them to better match the look of shattered stone mid-flight.

The progress feels solid, and I’m excited to see how the base enhances the final piece!

We’re getting close to wrapping up the spider itself!
I’ve pushed more highlighting on the green sections of the legs.

I also started sketching a skull design on the abdomen using a pencil. The plan is to create an inkblot-like skull effect. Fingers crossed it’ll add a sinister finishing touch!

Sometimes, it’s refreshing to step away from the meticulous detail of miniature painting and dive into something more freeing—terrain building! I crafted the structure from foam core and painstakingly cut XPS foam into individual bricks for added realism.

Excited to share my finished work on this aaracokra, painted in a peacock-inspired color scheme! The deep blues, vibrant greens, and golds were so fun to layer, capturing the iridescence and majesty of a peacock’s plumage.

Check out this massive giant ape! Quite literally a heavy boy (being made from pewter) this model was so fun to paint. I love working with metal minis, and the jungle basing was actually a test piece for the Carnosaur’s base from an earlier post.

The Blood Elemental! This piece was a quick yet rewarding project thanks to my airbrush. Crimson inks really brought the blood effect to life, creating a gruesome and sickly finish.

My take on an Undead Giant. The larger metal areas allowed me to go crazy with the weathering. The green OSL was able to give off the effect that it was being summoned or being held by magic.

Check out these Warhammer Fell Bats! They were a great chance to practice basic wet-blending techniques on the wings. The basing adds a creepy vibe, perfect for these sinister flyers.

Thanks! After not looking at the same model for so long (accidental 8hr stream lol) I think I’m gonna push pretty far, probably into the orange tones. Tons of raised areas and ridges to really contrast here. Also looking at the legs, I think I should bring up the green to the next section of the leg
