I have never seen one of these before so I naturally had to research it! This little creature seems to be a Cucumber Green #Spider (Araniella cucurbitina), a harmless orb-weaver species native to the UK and much of Europe. I’ve called it Coolio (cos they’re coolio as a cucumber!) 🥒 #Wildlife

Depression is a hell if a thing to fight. I had a front row seat to the #ScottishBallet production of The Crucible in Edinburgh on Thursday and I was SO looking forward to it…and then…that heavy shadow took over 😞so I didn’t go. But I’m glad my ticket helped to support the arts regardless 🩷
