I present to you a master class of laziness. I never left my car for any of these shots. Thank you to my window mount and sunroof 🙂

This!
I'm an atheist as well, but this is great.
I've always been an atheist and always will. But it's nice to hear someone speak this way from the pulpit. Especially a white man. More of this please.

Went on another "applying for PhDs and/or research positions" spree. Knocked out 13 applications in <3 hours...I think the grand total is up to ~60 total applications since July.

BTW, if anyone is looking for a neuroimaging analyst, let me know!!

Here's some lightning from earlier today

More Bruce photos from my impromptu trip to Los Angeles

What does one do when one gets laid off? Flies to LA to photograph one's favorite band of course!

Sudden change of weekend plans...I'm off to LA to see Bruce Dickinson and the House Band of Hell at The Wiltern for their final show of the North American tour!!
October 4, 2025 at 7:45 AM
Definitely had to pinch myself last night...I got to photograph my number one artist of all time. I've been a fan of Bruce Dickinson longer than I've been a fan of Iron Maiden. I've waited over 20 years to see this man tour his solo material, and he was finally in my hometown last night.

I'm not much of a morning person, but I'm really glad I made an exception for this EPIC sunrise near Leadville, CO yesterday morning.

Getting some more practice shots before tomorrow's air show. Need to dial in a few settings, but overall pretty happy with the results

Things may be spicy politically, but...I still get nostalgic whenever I see/hear the Thunderbirds. Reminds me of getting off shift at the Nellis AFB hospital at 0600 and trying to sleep through their practice runs each morning.

Had a great day hiking up near Leadville yesterday! Trying my hand at some landscape photography. Still learning what works for editing and composition, but I like the cinematic edits with grand sweeping views.

We are horrified to learn of the shooting of Charlie Kirk. Political violence has no place in democracy. The foundation of democracy rests on the principle that differences can be debated vigorously, but peacefully, without intimidation or acts of violence.
