Chandler Unified is the latest Arizona school district forced to make heartbreaking staffing cuts due to an anticipated $12 million budget shortfall. This, while over $30 million is being siphoned away to private school vouchers each year in the Chandler area alone.

I have a renewed level of respect for all the intramural and recreational soccer championship medals I got throughout my military service. Even my 2nd and 3rd place medals. I actually earned them instead of having someone give me theirs.

AZ Soccer rankings out. Good start for Tempe High soccer. Just a few places outside of the open. A strong showing in their upcoming Region games could see them qualify for the Open Tournament.

Great start by Tempe High’s soccer team. Going into the holiday break with a 4-1 record. I was lucky enough to catch the McClintock and Marcos de Niza away games. 2-1 OT win @ McClintock and 1-0 win @ Marcos.

Third season complete. I had a blast coaching the 12U Tigers. So grateful for the opportunity to coach a fantastic group of kids. Going to enjoy the break and then on to the Spring Season. I will be doing 12U and 8U.

Finished coaching my second season of 8U soccer. Proud of what the Roadrunners accomplished this season. Looking forward to the break and starting back up in the fall.
