Femicide, homicide, abuse of all kinds. I’m interested in reading more about it and comparing it to modern day. Any help would be appreciated!

I wonder if there would be a way for me to combine classics and criminology. How men viewed women through history is something I’m passionate about researching. Does anyone know of scholarly articles or published works of any calibre that deal with femicide in the ancient world?
