Still no comms on this from the ttc this year. Did the bad weather last year lull them into reverting to doing nothing?
It looks like TTC has learnt from the chaos of last years New Year’s Eve and will be restricting access to the subway at union: www.ttc.ca/news/2024/De... folks will not be able to access the ttc from union, but only from the street…moat will be closed…

Canada should double down on the tariff ad. It’s true. Carney should double the ad buy, and run it during all nfl games, all nba games, and the World Series…it seems Trump doesn’t like it. Keep doing it until he comes back to the negotiating table…

I don’t know much about snow melters, but this non-competitive contract Toronto just signed because Trecan is the only Canadian manufacturer seems a bit problematic in that it doesn’t appear that ANY environmental aspects were considered as part of it…so we get a big gas fired snow melter #topoli

Who does the Ticketmaster resale thing benefit? This is what I don’t understand…Ticketmaster has a fixed fee for resale, the resellers benefit (but is this seriously a voting bloc Doug relies on?), and sales taxes are minimal…why wouldn’t you put a limit on them, it seems like an easy vote getter…
