San Francisco is anchored in my mind as "the magical place game developers gather" due to my repeated pilgrimages across the decades out to here for GDC.

Fun to be in SF again for it, even if just for a bit.

It's a bit an extra of a gut-punch when a studio you used to work at (in this case, Monolith Productions) gets shut down, as you know a lot of the people who will be effected.

Some really good games have recently been announced or are coming out soon. One of the ones that I'm most excited about is Slay the Spire 2. I've put a lot of time into the original, and consider it to be as close to a perfect game as I've seen.
