Great news for SoCal cinephiles (and visitors)!

I saw 𝘼 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙚𝙩 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚: 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙊𝙣𝙚 at the Westwood Village just before it closed for renovations. It's a magnificent venue.

(If only exhibitors in CO cared this much about the moviegoing experience.)

It's so much fun to watch as more and more readers are enjoying 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙨 trilogy.

Below is the newest review from Goodreads for Book I, 𝙍𝙪𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣.

If you enjoy hard-hitting character-driven sci-fi (with a dash of hope), give it a look!

I recently watched 𝘼 𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙮𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙚.

I found it powerful, compelling, and momentous. Kudos to Kathryn Bigelow, Noah Oppenheim, & all involved.

The threepeat structure worked for me.

One of the benefits of sending your kid to college in L.A. is getting to see movies at magnificent cinemas when you visit. (They put Colorado to shame, sadly.)

Thanks for a fun ride, @dantrachtenberg.bsky.social!

I love seeing new reviews for 𝘽𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙮.

"There's hardly a dull moment spent away from dodging ravenous creatures, cattle-prod armed drones, and power-hungry humans. As always, the characters are central to the experience and we become bonded to each of them."

Who's up for some hard-hitting post-apocalyptic sci-fi?

𝘽𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙮 is now available on #audiobook.

Narrator Stacy Carolan does an amazing job completely inhabits these characters with a vivid performance that's also subtle and nuanced.

Met this very friendly nēnē on our recent trip to Hawai’i.

My wife kept telling me to whip it for some reason.

I’m all, “sheesh, I know it’s our anniversary, but I think they are protected.”
