A rough-looking gray limestone outcrop contains numerous small, jagged towers formed from dissolution of the surrounding limestone. A fingerboard is balanced atop a microkarst tower. The setting sun shines golden light onto a fingerboard balanced atop a microkarst tower in gray Kaibab Formation limestone.

Several different mountain lion trackways dozens of steps each cross a wind-rippled sand dune field toward a vegetated hill beyond. Two sets of mountain lion pes-manus tracks on a wind-rippled sand sandy surface, with a hiking boot for scale. Each track is nearly the width of the hiking boot. A bit of vegetation blown around by the wind has sculpted an arc shape in the upper left corner of the photo, partially obscuring one of the mountain lion tracks.
