I recently decided to dedicate my Analogue Pocket into a dedicated "Consolized Game Boy", and have it setup to play Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance games. There are some amazing games on those systems that still hold up today! I can't wait to replay some old favorites.

Just cleaning out my computer hard drive and came across these pics from when I completed Dr. Mario!!! I had finally cleared all the stages through level 20 on high speed and was quite proud of myself! This was back in 2019 or so on a raspberry-pi, so I need to do it again on an actual SNES.

This was the first video game I ever played. Avenger by Electra Games! It was 1976 and my family owned a hotel in Upper State New York where we had our very own arcade! This was the start of my life long obsession with video games.

I got this "bootleg" Ultima 3 cart for the Atari 800 from ebay and it works perfectly, saves the games just fine, etc. Had a lot of fun checking it out - never played on the Atari though only the Commodore 64. #genxretrogaming #retrogaming #genxretro #ultima3 #exodus #atari #atari800 #commodore #c64

I recently started playing through all of the original Final Fantasy games, currently playing FF1 on a consolized GBA. It was a toss up between FF and the original Ultima series (Ultimas 1-6), but I remember the Ultima games so well I don't think I'd have as much fun replaying them right now.

My son picked this up for me at goodwill for $10!!!! So excited he thought of me and snagged it. Two controllers (one original and one MadCatz). The bag is a little dusty but in perfect shape otherwise, the system and controllers all seem solid too just a bit dirty - the disc has no scratches!

The most amazing monitor made in the early 1980s! One of these is my original one, opened Christmas morning 1983 or 1984. Still working perfectly. Quality construction.

Quick pic of my work in progress bedroom gaming center. I've gotten most of my systems setup here, just about everything has wireless controllers and I have a 2-seat leather couch opposite this that reclines back! Excited to finish this up and get all the HDMI channels working right, etc.

Both of these pets passed long ago, but I thought I'd share this photo. The cat was named Sadie, and she was very old, like almost 20. She had a pet gerbil named Edward that she cared for. They were inseparable. <3 #pets #cats #gerbils #genxretrogaming #genxretro

Yesterday I showed off a couple of my Commodore-64 computers, today some Amiga... First is my original Amiga 500, currently I'm in the process of upgrading it, giving it a black case and black keyboard. Then my Armiga (set as a 1200) and my Apollo Vampire Standalone system.

Just a few of my commodore's that I thought I'd post pics of while I was organizing - My Silver Label C64, my "Vader" which is a C64 Reloaded MK2 with black Pixel Wizard case and red keyboard and my Ultimate 64, clear Pixel Wizard case with rainbow keyboard (mechanical silver speed switches).
