Is it just me? There used to be a #Genealogy feed at the top of the posts. Luckily I also have my own Genealogy List but the feed automatically listed all posts with the hashtag. But it’s disappeared from my screen overnight?

There should be a rule on Ancestry that people can only be added on trees if there is an actual source, not just an Ancestry Hint. My OH's Great Aunt keeps appearing as married in 1899 Galway. Seems plausible BUT ...🧵

As someone who loves #History and #Genealogy this is worrying…. Historical context is everything in family history, not that man’s racist and narcissistic interpretation. It may not be as immediately important compared to families being separated, people being held and basically tortured but still….
Not necessarily #Genealogy but can anyone recommend a UK self-publishing company for non-fiction book on history? Ideally, would prefer recommendations on a company you have dealt with.

I'm going through Baptism Records 1840-81, County Galway, Ireland (online microfilm of originals). Suddenly, thrice on an 1848 page there's "Date, Churched (her name) wife of (his name)".
It doesn't seem to appear other years. Any ideas?
