I must apologize to my end users, it is currently impossible to start or update a project with the words 'heck' or 'darn' in the title. I figured out basic validation but there's some weird node.js interop issue with the profanity filter I was trying to use so you're stuck with my placeholder list

I got an email that I had received a payout for a Facebook class-action lawsuit and I checked out the links and it was from a legit class action clearinghouse and I had been awarded a whopping $17.34 which I got on a prepaid Visa card. I wanted something frivolous so I went on Amazon and bought this

Getting a medical card in Maine is silly easy now. I got mine at the shop after paying $35, filling out one form, going into a back room where I filled out another form and wrote down ANXIETY, and then I was asked if I wanted my card laminated. And I got $35 store credit!

One of the things that really suck, but is interesting about coming to terms with being estranged from my family is realizing that they were always pretty shitty people who didn’t encourage the good sides of me. So many core experiences of what makes me Me get recontextualized

“Chains of Love” by Charli XCX has enough tension in it to be more than just another slow jam. I love it

Had a good FaceTime call with my mom. She asked about my earrings and if they were gemstones and I got to explain to her that I’d stretched my ears which was something she’d tearfully begged me not to do age 17. It went well and I got to talk about moss agate

When he dies, there are going to people celebrating, there are going to be people pretending to mourn, and above all there will be people furious that anyone fail to show enough public sorrow. Like Charlie Kirk, but times ten

a big runoff last night, in New Orleans:

Calvin Duncan was exonerated after spending *28 years* in prison; he tried to get his own case records from the New Orleans city clerk—but the office dragged its feet.

So Duncan ran to become city clerk himself, and yesterday ousted the incumbent.
