Every now and then I go through an old box and find some fun piece of nostalgia from the past decade in VR 🥰

It’s amazing how far we’ve come in such a short time!

I’m really curious if they’ll use the IR cameras too for tracking, or if it’ll be limited to hand tracking only for drift correction. Same with exposing haptics APIs

In either case, this is great news for devs! Unified controls is awesome and the PSVR2 controllers are one of the highlights of PSVR2

I am Mark and I have been doing #VR, #AR and #MR stuff since 2012.

Just shipped Starship Home for #MetaQuest3S, but you might know me from "SUPERHOT VR", a Tilt Five launch title called "Mark's Magnificent Marble Maze" or my Quest launch title "Gravity Lab"

Currently purchasing a new home and had this conversation:

Spouse: “We’ll need to get couches that are easy to move for the living room”
Me: “Why?”
Them: “So we can easily move it out of the way for VR space”

It’s been exciting planning out how we’ll make VR/MR a deeper part of our home this time!

The positivity and seeing actual XR folks over here is really making BlueSky into a solid platform finally. It finally feels like we’ve got an alternative to Twitter that fits the proper niche. Threads was close, but the near-ness to Insta/FB meant I felt limited to what I wanted to post.

Alrighy, fun little app idea: so folks love building little emulators for older coding languages and runtimes like DoS right? We need that same thing, but punchcards in MR. Have it physically in the room and such. Maybe get some real world interaction going with some real world cards that work?
