Watched the first episode of #StarTrek #StarfleetAcademy & while the start felt a bit... meh, the vibe once we were with the Academy characters was fun. Feels very much like it was inspired by the vibes in the first JJ Abrams Trek. And I'm good with that.

If the ICE officer who killed Renee Good was struck by her vehicle, it's because he put himself in its path & stood there to point his gun. While stupid, it would make the first shot legal. But there is a big problem if the shot missed. Next 2 shots were after the car passed him. That's murder.

Finally saw Avatar 3 in the theater. Solid. Looking at the box office, it may make $1.6 billion worldwide (unless some overseas regions perform higher than expected). That's a sizeable difference from Avatar 2, though that movie had 13 years between films, whereas this one only had 3.
