Or maybe housing is the least of my concerns if I can't get insurance at ALL I have a shelf life of a couple weeks (when my expensive meds run out) and then my heart goes into rejection and I won't have the money to do anything about it & then I will die. Canda, is medical refugees a thing?
One of the most important provisions of the ACA was eliminating pre-existing conditions exclusions from insurance plans.
Folks need to be reminded that if the ACA goes away, so does that provision.

Well it looks like a huge chunk of any money I make will be going to my health insurance for the foreseeable future. I was hoping to save up some money by moving to a significantly smaller space now I wonder if I will even be able to keep that.
Senate Democrats asked for a year of ACA subsidies and were told to fuck off.
So they came back and asked for a pinky promise to hold a vote on ACA subsidies that they will assuredly lose?

This is insanity! THIS is why I'm moving out of my apartment--so I can literally afford to stay alive. Living in CA it's a bit better than in say Nevada but it's still likely to more than double and as someone who's had a heart transplant you can imagine my healthcare isn't cheap! I'm so tired.
