It took me way too long to realize that I was trying to wank to the wrong kind of porn. I was trying to look for myself in it. Trying to look for something that reflected my literal desires. But I think that was the wrong approach. I needed the WEIRD stuff. Cartoons and self-indulgent fics.

I'm sleeping better, now, so I'm dreaming again, but that just means I have to suffer the feelings of longing when I wake up because whoever I crushed on and smooched in my dreams is not real (and even if they were, they definitely would not kiss me IRL, lol).
