The words of this account come from Carl and if you know GBHBL, you know me. I love many things and if you hang here, you’ll hear about them!
Cracked, by The Helmers, is an amusing, creative horror western short film that takes the simple nutcracker, gives it a scary face, and makes it a tool for predicting fortunes.

There are some notably bland tracks that reflect a lack of inspiration, but happily, there are plenty that slay too. If you’re a big fan of the band, then you may come away more pleased with the record then I did.

German symphonic metal band Beyond The Black return with their sixth studio album, 'Break the Silence' on January 9th, 2026, via Nuclear Blast Records.

There’s something quite obscene about this album and not just because the combination of black, death and thrash-infused noise is ugly and harsh to the ears.
Album Review: Nighnacht – Limb Service (Morbid and Miserable Records / Pagan Fury Records)
Released by Morbid and Miserable Records in conjunction with Pagan Fury Records, ‘Limb Service’ is the brand-new, and fourth release by the chaotic black/death/thrash metal band, Nighnacht. Out on January 9th, 2026.

I’m not alone in thinking that Bring Her Back is special, I’m just joining a chorus of voices. See this film, and be prepared to be left thinking about it for a long time afterwards.
Horror Movie Review: Bring Her Back (2025)
Bring Her Back, a supernatural folk horror film directed by Danny and Michael Philippou, with the former co-writing the screenplay with Bill Hinzman. A film far better than the premise suggests.
