I came across a DVD of Pink Floyd doing The Wall at Earls Court London 8/9/80. It was never released because it’s a bit dark in some places. I wish someone would remaster it using new technology and release it because it’s pretty cool. I saw them perform it at the LA Sports Arena and it was amazing!

This is a Silverback Mountain Gorilla named Vuba in a photo taken in 2017 in Rwanda. He was the son of one of Diane Fosseys’ MGs. Sadly, he passed away several months later from an intestinal disease. It was an amazing experience gorilla trekking!

Me as an ackward teenager getting stiffed by Willie Mays at a 1975 golf tourny. Only 3 of us within 500 feet.Willie poses of a photo with my friend. I then ask can I get one too? He says no and then practically runs me over as he drives away! He and Joe DiMaggio were jerks!

A young lions uses the step behind my seat to scratch its head! Pretty cool encounter with a young lion that ended up probably 18 inches from my phone. Pretty much the closest I’ve been to a lion. As long as you don’t make a sudden movement, make noise or do something stupid you’re okay.

Baby rhinos are pretty damn cute! We watched this baby rhino run back and forth on the road between our vehicle and a second one on the road. It would act brave and run towards car but pull up short when it got close. Ol Pejeta, Kenya

A nice shot from a pride of lions at Naboisho Conservancy in Kenya. It’s very interesting to watch lions interact in a pride. The cubs are taken care of by all of the female lions, whether they’re their own cub or not. Their playfulness is fun to watch too.

A couple of years ago we worked at an eco-village in South Africa sorting recyclables.We were warned that there could be scorpions and I came across this little one. It turns out it’s one of the deadliest scorpions in Africa whose venom will kill you in 20 minutes.luckily,we saw it before it saw us.

We had perhaps our wildest game drive ever in Kenya last month!A giraffe had been killed and about 2/3 gone when we arrived.A male and 2 females ate while another male patrolled to keep the hyenas away.There we 15 other female lions laying around and about 150-200 hyenas circling! Incredible scene!

On our first game drive of the trip at Naboisho Conservancy in Kenya, we came upon a pride of 20 lions. Our amazing driver James put us in perfect position for the lions to come at us but not feel trapped. Here’s one of several that I took.

We love watching lions play! They are so interesting to watch interact. On our last game drive of a 2 week trip to Kenya we came across a group of 20 lions running around and playing. Sometimes they play pretty rough as they are in this photo. Naboisho Conservancy, Kenya

Lions Eye View!We are currently on safari at the amazing Naboisho Conservancy in Kenya. I often wonder what a lion sees when they look at a safari car. For some reason, I looked closely at this photo and saw our car and the roof of another reflected in the cats eyes. Our guide James really loved it.

Lions Eye View!We are currently on safari at the amazing Naboisho Conservancy in Kenya. I often wonder what a lion sees when they look at a safari car. For some reason, I looked closely at this photo and saw our car and the roof of another reflected in the cats eyes. Our guide James really loved it.
Very sad situation at the end of day at Ol Pejeta, Kenya.A Pregnant elephant had fallen in some mud and couldn’t get up. The other elephants were trying their best to help her up. We alerted the nearby Rangers. The other elephants will protect her until the morning when the Rangers will bring help.

Just finished reading this amazing book about Curtis Pride and his journey to play MLB despite being totally deaf since birth. Just an incredible story of perseverance and having people that believed in you in your corner! The perfect read for anyone looking for inspiration sports fan or not!
