Aurora borealis with a rare reddish hue (for Arctics) , caused by high-altitude oxygen at 200-300 km emitting red light when excited by solar particles. The usual green tones blend with this vibrant red, showcasing exceptional atmospheric and solar activity. #Arctics #norternlight

Northern light, Aurora borealis, when I grew up some elderly would tell us kids if we misbehaved or mocked the Aurora, the lights could swoop down and "take" us . We weren't convinced so we misbehaved anyways

An unusually large spider for this part of the world, Tegenaria of some sort I believe, but I'm no expert on spiders... found in my cellar. I'll just leave it be; it’ll eat other more unwanted critters.
