One thing I wasn't sure about looking at how other people build their onboarding flows is whether the user HAS to pay to be able to use the app

I guess it depends on the app

Because I saw some onboarding had a "X" you could skip the paid sign up

Your funnel starts even before people reach your landing page or website

For organic, how many people see your content, click through to view, click the link the description, etc

For ads, impressions to unique clicks, without the click, your landing page doesn't matter

You'll hate to hear it...

But your business or idea doesn't have to be new or groundbreaking in any way to make money

There is more than enough for everyone to "eat"

And at times some people just prefer your personality vs. someone elses

Running ads and not sure if your Pixel is correct?

The deeper into your funnel you send data back, the better

But you need enough volume for the Pixel to be able to learn

So if you're running a coaching of agency funnel, typically you're optimising for "Lead" or "Schedule"

Question for the Meta ads experts

Should you blindly trust Meta's ad spend if you put all your ads into the same ad set?

Or should you force it to spend on certain ads by putting them into separate ad sets?

You can't look at your Meta ad campaign results just in isolation

Number may look good at a campaign level

But you need to dig into how each ad set and specific ad is performing

A lot of the time, a single ad set or a specific ad will be doing most of the heavy lifting

The order of priority for your landing page or funnel:

1. The offer
2. The copy for that offer
3. Design (it obviously can't be a complete dogs breakfast)
4. Then "design spice", images, animations, gradients

Is AI gonna make funnel building obsolete?

(Just my opinion) Nah.

What AI still seems to miss is how to structure landing pages to convert, and the copy

And let's be real, business owners still don't want to spend the time doing it

Every landing page and funnel builder has its pros and cons

For example...

HighLevel I find can be a little clunky sometimes, but I love how easily you can optimise desktop vs mobile (you can tweak almost everything)

One lesson I've learned, scaling a business is hard when every client is custom

I.e. you're starting from scratch every single time

Vs. something like funnels + landing pages where you're working off frameworks from previous clients, wins transfer to other clients

As I work on more funnels, and more landing pages, I start to essentially build up "lego blocks" of what works

Variations for...

- Authority sections
- Building trust sections
- "About me" sections

And a lot of it transfers between clients

So you progressively get faster

I feel...

- Simple mockups
- "3d render" style images
- Slightly offset images

Can give a relatively simple section just that bit of extra pop
