Still reeling from that very special performance of Speak of the North at Aldeburgh Festival. Claire Booth, Chris Glynn & Tamsin Waley-Cohen absolutely knocking out of the park. I will not forget this anytime soon. Very happy composer!

Lovely to be back with BBC Symphony Orchestra and Lee Reynolds today for the premiere of my Cortège for a Coal Mine. If you are at a loss in London the concert is @2:30 Maida Vale Studios, and it will be broadcast on Radio 3 on the 10th May - progray inclds Barber, John Adams, Gershwin and me!

A Monstrous Little Suite premieres tonight in Cardiff and it’s sounding glorious! It’s been so long since the opera premiered back in 2019 and it’s delicious to be back in the world of Norse Gods! It’ll be on Radio 3 in Concert if you want to catch it!
