Fifty years ago today, the Edmund Fitzgerald sank in a storm on Lake Superior with the loss of all 29 crew members aboard.

Lake Superior is a danger that I’ve always taken seriously.

Chilly tonight but packed house at Java Central Cafe and Roaster. More cards written and ready to go in the mail!

I’ve been using stamps featuring Keith Haring’s art for my campaign mail. Haring died of AIDS in 1990, but his works live on.

On Saturday, October 18th, the Westerville City Council held their annual budget meeting at the Electric Division’s offices, so there was as no official recording.

If elected to council, l will work to record this meeting and make it available on the city’s websites.

A $620 monthly spike in insurance premiums is only going to make our affordability crisis worse. Millions will be forced to go without health insurance—or go into debt.

Republicans need to extend the ACA tax credit NOW.

We have several dozen yard signs that still need to be placed in people’s yards.

Even if you live on a cul-de-sac or side street, we would still be happy to deliver a yard sign to you.

Help us find homes for them! You can request one here: www.gatissforwesterville.com/get-a-yard-s...

The Westerville City Council race is nonpartisan (meaning party IDs are not on the ballot) but candidates do have partisan affiliations & voting histories.

This is useful information when you decide how to cast your vote—Democrats will move Westerville forward but Republicans will take us backward.
