Ya know, bet if I hadn’t heard ‘You’re smart, you can figure it out yourself’ SO MUCH from my ‘ask me for help anytime’ parents I’d ask for help more & have far less RSD. And it’d’ve hurt less if just 1/350 ppl would’ve even reacted to FB post 2w ago asking for help to move my bed base & fridge. 😪

You know…. I’ve never understood how so many who claim to follow the God of Abraham could commit such horrors on their extended family. Did they forget they believe we’re all descendants of those who lived in the Ark? Plus the whole ‘Love thy neighbor as yourself’ thing? Will humanity ✨ever✨ learn?

I went to renew my passport the other day. They said it was more crowded than usual, and I saw multiple Latino families in line. Lovely mothers, fathers and kids waiting patiently, their hair combed nicely for the pics. I can't assume, but I know in my heart what prompted this and it made me so sad.

Just saw the most beautiful elder out for a walk. The sun was behind her, and shone through her white hair crowning her with a halo of glowing rays. I hope I’m that beautiful if I make it to her level of living wisdom. She may never know how she brightened my day today, but I love her.
