I haven't uploaded a photo to @unsplash since January 2021 but my images still rack up around 1 million views a month, with a total of 51.6 million (so far).

Pretty proud of that.

Really enjoyed escaping into Ancient Greek mythology with this book.

The Gods didn’t try to be all divine, and they certainly weren’t worshipped as figures of perfection. They were cruel, jealous, flippant, petty, loving, and, dare I say it, strangely human-like.

Would highly recommend.

I genuinely think this is my favourite photo that I’ve ever taken.

This back issue of @bigissue.com seems particularly apt this week or any week

"A public expression of emotion, a moment of tearfulness, is not something that needs apology. It is a moment of sincerity." - Robin Ince 🎯

Crying in public is nothing to be ashamed of
We feel shamed about crying, says Robin Ince, but really there is nothing to apologise for when showing emotion in front of others.

I know its the darling of the SME industry right now, but the UI updates that Canva have made over recent months has absolutely destroyed the user journey.

Today's big question:

Do dogs have an internal monologue, and if so, is it just "woof, woof, woof"?

Hard-hitting content right here.

Today’s office. It’s on the wrong side of the Penines but it’ll do.

Working I’m in Manchester today. Thought I’d treat myself to a bacon and egg sarnie. Had to call a bread cake a “bahm“ like some kind of animal.

This weekend has been far from relaxing, but at least Athena’s first pub trip was a great success.

It’s here...The light is rising. The birds are too.

Wherever you are... take a moment. Pause. Listen.

You’re part of the dawn chorus.

Record it. Share it. What do you hear? Let’s fill this thread with birdsong. 🍃🎵
