And this is the conundrum for content providers like @samfr.bsky.social, that's a huge amount of engagement to forgo if you stop cross posting. I'm not sure I'd be willing to stop in his shoes. Despite @t0nyyates.bsky.social & others best efforts to get codes over, it's too much friction for many.
The lurker experience has degraded much less than you would think on twitter. Viewing following only & rarely looking at replies is still usable. That shift will take a significant reduction in content over there.
