If I were writing a parenting advice book, one tip would be this:

Buy a big pack of identical socks for your kid. Assorted socks are cute but they get lost, and sorting them in the laundry is a hassle. Be creative with shirts, pants, and shoes. Just keep socks simple.

Dr. Joyce Lee has one of my votes! (we can vote for up to 5 candidates)

She's been my colleague and friend for the past 8 years. A fantastic researcher and person. She'll make a positive impact as a Director-At-Large for SSWR.
The 2025 SSWR voting is now available! I'd so appreciate your vote for Director-At-Large (DAL). I am deeply committed to building SSWR up and thus advance social work research that promotes a diverse, just & equitable society. Vote by 12/31 at vote.associationvoting.com/sswr/

Hi! This is my first post. I'm an assistant professor of social work at UNLV. I study child and family well-being. I'm especially interested in preventing child maltreatment, advancing children's rights, and promoting healthy parent-child relationships. Looking forward to connecting with folks here.
