Almost every nurse has been amazing while my kiddo has been inpatient but the AUDACITY to lie to my face when I said “did he really gain a full pound today or was that just a typo”. So I drove in and observed his next weigh in (not up a pound lol) and she STILL tried to tell me it was the scale

Boston is cool because there’s a lot of examples of “what if we just socialized this” for example the main air ambulance company in the area also has 2 ground units for ICU level transport and it’s just…owned by the area hospitals. They don’t make you get auth. Better things etc etc

My wife and I have wildly different thresholds for “throw money at it” for example I was very willing to pay $200 to not hassle my brother in law and have to move a dresser 3 floors where as she is like “can’t you just do it for free?”

My in-laws gifted us hydrangeas while my wife was pregnant which is a wild move to give me more responsibility but he’s doing his work in the NICU and I’m watering every day

There needs to be a law against leveraging old recording rights to freely be used to exploit new technology. He knew NBC owned everything he said and could be replayed to their contractual agreement but could not have guessed they’d use that to make new content with no payment to at least his estate

Sometimes I think about how almost every culture settled on “let’s wrap this meat in dough” as a celebratory/holiday/etc food.
Except the Irish. We just put mashed potatoes on top. Even the fucking Brits figured out sausage rolls which qualifies (barely).

Not a defense of the tariffs which are bad and dumb but either a lot of people directly import things or don’t understand retailer markup.
The $3 cost shirt imported from Bangladesh and resold by J Crew for $35 now costs J Crew $4.11. Don’t let it be an excuse for them to charge $48 instead of $37

My dog had a seizure last night which was terrifying. We took him to the Vet ED. He’s 14 so the doc basically told us it’s a brain tumor he can take some anti seizure meds I’m sorry.
