Metapod + Gust of Wind
These are my two entries to @tcgnewdeckplus.bsky.social, a Pokemon TCG Gameboy Color mod! I've always loved this game (and soundtrack 😩👌) and have played many different versions of it. So cool to fire up the pixel art and make these buggies!

Pixel Art redraws of the "Metapod" and "Gust of Wind" cards for the Pokemon Trading Card Game on Gameboy Color. The GDQ break channel that @marlowedobbe.com and I made for a jam just got merged! If you're watching #AGDQ this week, keep an eye out for it.

I think it turned out really fun. Donations reduce the HP of the foe, and when defeated, a new one spawns. So stoked to see it in action!

It is my birthday and there are a few things you can do here at this crossroads. There are burnt out candles in the mud below your feet, mixed with foil paper scraps and ribbons. Before you are three paths, extending far into the fields. It smells like frosting. You aren't sure what's going on.
