The Landlord's Game, published in 1906 by creator Elizabeth Magie, was a game based on the economic principles of Georgism, and was intended to demonstrate how rents enrich property owners and impoverish tenants.

It was the inspiration for the 1935 game Monopoly, also intended as a cautionary tale.

Rockstar Games fired 31 employees in an apparent attempt to prevent them forming a trade union. Rockstar gave the reason "gross misconduct", and there has been speculation that they may be planning to settle. This is the latest in a long struggle for game worker's unions worldwide.

Games Commons is a new way to conceive of game design. Games are driven by data published on the web, owned and managed in common (think Wikipedia).
