I worked at Party City in high school. It was my first job. I am certain the same Jordan almonds in the wedding section have been there since I was on the payroll 20 years ago.

Last day before break. We rotate the classes through different classrooms for fun activities. I always do Christmas charades. No Chromebooks, no messy craft supplies, no food all over the floor, and the kids get to be silly and they love it.

I love getting gifts from students whose parents are also teachers. Those gifts are always boozey.

Unless it’s a kitschy family reunion t-shirt, there is nothing respectable about wearing a shirt with your name on the front of it.
