You know when your designing a character and it feels like somethings missing? what is that thing typically for you?

Basic info about my project, Healing the Heart: our main cast has 12 characters, these 3 (Ethan, Belle, Seth) are the focus. This series is co-written by me and my friend Kai. The story takes place in a prestigious collage (Bern's Academy). the genres are: slice of life, comedy, mystery & horror
