Both surprised and not surprised to see 12 Israeli projects listed as beneficiaries of an advanced ERC grant. Not granting new grants to a country actively committing war crimes (and in doing so offering support and legitimizing it) seems like the lowest bar

Both as a migration scholar and activist, I strongly support the referendum to change the law on Italian citizenship. Vote YES to reduce the residency requirement from 10 to 5 years - a much more reasonable time. Italy belongs to those who choose it!

Instead of promoting integration - for the benefit of all of us as a society- the EU keeps fuelling hatred and criminalising migrants. This proposal is shameful for so many reasons.
Today, we're proposing to establish a new Common European System for Returns.
Complementing the Pact on Migration and Asylum, the new rules will give EU countries the necessary tools to make return more efficient while fully respecting fundamental rights.
