His design is inspired by a ram mask, with much love to the characters of my favorite Supergiant game, Pyre. Throw in some Groot and MTG dryads, and tada! 🎉

Our Discord bot game is much inspired by Neopets!

I loved the heck out of daily interest. So in the city for our game, I wanted a bank and tax collectors who could come after you-- 😵💰

The city also has slot machines and an underground ring, inspired by Detective Pikachu ☠️

Meet Crystrak, one of my personal favorite designs in our game--

Our reference board was filled with dragons and serpents. Two standouts were Red Eyes B. Chick from YuGiOh and jewel dragons from Cardfight Vanguard-- then, tada! 🎉

Data says he should be put aside & redone, but I foolishly decided I'd love him anyway. I want a game that others like, yet I also want to allow myself to love our game too.

I love Lunar New Year, so for this design, I leaned heavily into the dragon dance and guardian lions.

As soon as my artist partner showed the first sketch, I knew she was perfect.
