Watched the first TRON film last night! Hardly a boring watch. It's a simple, fluffy film more than anything, and that's okay! Very charming cast of characters and beautiful, mouth-watering visuals. Deliciously neon and mechanical, a design philosophy that would remain consistent in these films!

17. Discussions of bad voice acting in games led me to try out Gotcha Force. The voice acting IS bad, but the addicting gameplay loop of fighting tiny robots with one another and collecting more tiny robots more than compensates!

Yeah the stuff I like is an acquired taste and I don't mind more "sophisticated" films but vicious dinosaurs, neon computer people, transforming alien robots, and giant monsters have clicked with my brain in such a way that I can't ever hate them.

This was one of my very first feathered dinosaur depictions and I loved the grungy, almost monstrous look. It's downright spooky, looking like a dinosaurian Halloween decoration.
A Sinosauropteryx, a small bipedal predatory dinosaur, stands atop a mossy log. At its feet, a dead opossum-like mammal is draped across the log. The dinosaur's skin is covered in a sparse coating of scruffy filaments. A sickly yellow sky dominates the background.

This one was also fun, it was interesting trying to balance the patterns on the fabric sections. And switchable accessories on plushies are always fun!

A plushified version of Renaud. He has a patchwork body, his head patched in four sections with the "screen" in the middle. Two of the sections are blue and white respectively, the other two sections are a lighter blue with various white patterns on them, polka dot and striped. The left (his right) triangular ear/fin is stitched on with blue material, the other ear is stitched on and lighter blue with thick white stripes. A white patch has been sown over part of the edge of the ear. The rest of the body is mainly different shades of grey, similar patchwork as the head with varying patterns. He also has two big buttons on his torso section for his suit. He has extra patches on the knees and his left arm. Surrounding him, various accessories are shown. There is a velcro vinyl record as well as a microphone that you can stick onto his hand, and even the facial features are velcro! The eyes can be replaced with various items, examples including a happy, upside-down V eye set to show happiness, or simply a heart.
