Great to see my initial investigation into the London Post and Moscow Media Group in Press Gazette cited in this excellent investigation by that connects the figures behind the shadowy pink slime network to far-right activist Tommy Robinson.
🔴 Tommy Robinson and the London News Website Linked to a Putin-Backed Propaganda Network

Far-right activist Stephen Yaxley-Lennon was appointed as an ambassador to an unregistered charity connected to a Russian 'black PR' operation, Matt Bernardini reports

A photographer won a payout from a “news” site that used their work — even though the site’s owners couldn’t be identified.
That’s a win.
But it also shows how easily media operators hide while creators absorb the risk.

My latest in @pressgazette.co.uk !
A London-based photographer has successfully sued a local news website only to find that its owners and editors are impossible to track down

The London Post meanwhile continues to publish with impunity masquerading as a bona fide local news source pressgazette.co.uk/publishers/r...

What happens when your work is stolen by a newspaper that doesn't really exist?

A photographer sued a fake local paper for using his pictures without permission, but only found a dead end.

Amazing to see my investigation shared by

What happens when local journalism isn't really local, and isn't really journalism either?

The US pandemic of fake 'pink slime news' has gone global, threatening our communities.

My new investigation (linked below) for @pressgazette.co.uk explores how UK pink slime is on the rise.

When conflict erupts, as a journalist it is essential to understand events on the ground, even when you can't be there.

We can use open-source tools to geolocate this video on Twitter (X) from @Elganga90 (x.com/i/status/192...).

These methods are key for reporting contemporary conflicts. #OSINT
