I don't claim to be a photographer. All my photos have aged now... I wish I could be a photographer, but this art is too expensive for people who don't have money like me. I'm just a man who is afraid of losing to time. I'm afraid of time and its impact on my memory. Photographing my friends is a way for me to tell myself that all these moments existed at one point in my life. When I'm old and my memory plays tricks on me, I'll look at these photos and think back to that time in my life when I bought my old camera for 25€ in a flea market with used film. I'd then tell myself how lucky I was to create memories for us with only a few pennies in my pocket. Without a doubt, the best investment of my life.

One autumn evening, they were there. A deafening din. A heavy scent of goodbye, I was there. From a late summer shadow was born the fall of the oaks and, with them, this moment forever engraved. There are people, there are lives, there are noises, there are silences. There are people and cold walls. The bricks tell of times that everyone forgets, but whose murmurs no one hears. A curve drawn with a finger on the concrete, the frail thought of a word in a tunnel. There are people that everyone forgets, but whose walls remain marked by their echoes. There are past lives whose atoms cross time and matter to insatiably return to this unique moment that was intended for them, a piece of nothing, a tiny thought coming to life under the scribble of a dreamer.

My shoulders are heavy. Why am I a photographer? I don't feel legitimate and I never have. My shoulders are fragile. I can't bear the weight of networks where everyone is a photographer. What is photography? I don't feel legitimate. Why am I a photographer? I don't like happiness, it doesn't interest me. I don't like what is beautiful in the eyes of the world. A long, long time ago, I didn't feel legitimate to write a few words on a piece of paper, so the camera replaced the power of words. Why am I a photographer? I'm not, too young, too immature. When will I be a photographer? Surely at the end of my life, when I've lived enough and beauty and meaning will take over superficiality and my shoulders will be lighter.

You see, he, in my hands he gives the power to archive in my head the fragment of a moment of our lives where nothing mattered.
