was writing myself into a corner with outlining/plotting for the heist idea thing but i finally figured it out 🔥it's a lot simpler with baser motivations than where my brain was going, but it's good enough to start writing

WOOHOO, i finished the first draft for my gothic erotica (not so erotica anymore...) book ✨it ended up being 78k which was just over my original estimate so i'm pretty happy! not too shabby for five weeks of work

re: the heist thing, i've been doing some snippets of finger's weird relationship with his self-perceived dangerous nature vs. his desire to be perceived as soft and helpless and it has been very fun 🥺

i'm almoooost through the sequence of midpoint events. i ended up writing like 7k today. i'm at the tail end of it now but i am so sleepy, i'll have to save the rest for tomorrow 😭

hmmm, i decided to cut something from the plot so i could get to the part i wanted to be at faster and now the scene where i'm at doesn't work anymore... foolish!!! back to the drawing board. (but tomorrow 😴)
