As Fiberation Day comes to an end it occurs to me that the Republican party is so inextricably linked to this course of action that if it does fail, the party may never recover. Trump has led them on huge gambit & there's got to be a few Repub buttholes clinching real tight right now.

The Trump third term statement is a distraction. It's bluster to divert attention away from Signal. This is well-trod ground, Trump's playbook isn't complicated.

DARVO & the 4 D's of avoiding accountability:
"Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim & Offender"
"Deny, Deflect, Defend, Diffuse"
Trump and his administration aren't the first, but they are doing their damndest to be the best.

So any & all criticism against Trump & his admin may be characterized as witch hunts...also, answering "I don't know..." or, "I haven't heard about that", When asked questions about issues that he absolutely should know about is beginning to sound like, "I was just holding them for a friend".

I think most Safety Professionals would agree that OSHA isn't perfect, but there is no denying that OSHA has absolutely had a positive influence in workplace safety. I'm ashamed to say that this wrong-headed bill comes from an Arizona Congressman.

Another great episode from Cautionary Tales. This one deals with intrigue surrounding the fate of a group of skiers/hikers deep in Russia in 1959 and how it relates to modern propaganda methodology.

Steve Bannon calls the phenomenon "flooding the zone". The blatant manipulation of the American people for the sake of the rich and powerful can be countered. Take care of yourselves. Don't succumb to the shock and awe.

True patriotism doesn't require a blind eye to the mistakes of the past. Patriotism can celebrate strengths while holding your country to a higher standard. Kind of weird policy from the party that gets fussy about the removal of Confederate monuments.

Watching what Trump does here carefully. The proximity of tech billionaires to the presidency is disturbing. The appointment of Musk to D.O.G.E. is concerning & Musk's & Amazon's lawsuit seeking to delegitimize the NLRB...I'm sensing a theme...
